Cycling enthusiasts are in for a treat as the Karabük Cycling Association prepares to host the Karabük Cycling Festival in Yenice from November 1-3, 2024. This highly anticipated event will bring together cyclists from across the region to experience the scenic beauty and challenging terrains of Yenice, Karabük.

The festival promises a weekend filled with thrilling rides through some of Karabük's most picturesque landscapes, including dense forests, rolling hills, and tranquil rivers. Participants of all skill levels are welcome, with routes designed to cater to both seasoned cyclists and those new to the sport.

Türkiye İş Bankası Istanbul Marathon (İstanbul, November 3)

HIS Sports is proud to announce its hosting of the 2024 Istanbul Marathon, one of the most scenic and historically rich races in the world. Scheduled to take place on November 3rd, this year's marathon will see runners from across the globe take on the iconic 42K and 15K courses that wind through some of Istanbul’s most famous landmarks.

The 42K marathon kicks off just 250 meters before the toll booths in front of the 15 July Martyrs Bridge Metrobus Station, offering runners a breathtaking start with views of the Bosphorus. After crossing the 15 July Martyrs Bridge, participants will descend onto the coastal road, passing through Beşiktaş via the Barbaros Boulevard.

Runners will then navigate through some of Istanbul's most historic sites, including the Dolmabahçe Palace and Mosque, the Galata Bridge, and the bustling streets of Sirkeci. The course then follows the coastal road, stretching from the historic heart of Istanbul to the Air Force Academy and back. After passing through the serene Gülhane Park, runners will be greeted by the grandeur of Sultanahmet Square, where the race culminates at the historic At Meydanı (Hippodrome), nestled between the Blue Mosque and the ancient Obelisk.

Starting just behind the marathon runners at the 15 July Martyrs Bridge, participants will follow the same course down Barbaros Boulevard and along the coastal road through Beşiktaş to Karaköy. After crossing the Galata Bridge and heading towards Sirkeci, the race concludes along the Yenikapı Coast, providing a picturesque finish with the Sea of Marmara as the backdrop.
