The city of Izmir is on its way to becoming a sports hub, thanks to the vision of Mayor Tunç Soyer. This vision came to life in the exhilarating finals of the 3x3 Streetball Izmir Cup, held at the Culture Park Izmir International Fairgrounds Youth Area. The event garnered significant attention from sports enthusiasts across Izmir.

Mayor Tunç Soyer himself kicked off the finals with the jump ball in the girls' championship match. The event featured not only intense 3-point shootouts but also slam dunk contests, dance performances, trampolining, and acrobatic shows, providing hours of entertainment for attendees.

Following the qualifying stages in Bostanlı, Bornova, Göztepe, Gaziemir, Buca, Dikili, Menderes, and Urla, the grand finals took place. In the men's division, "Premium Alsancak" secured the championship title. As part of their prize, the winning team, sponsored by HIS Travel, earned an Istanbul tour and tickets to an upcoming Euroleague basketball game.

In the youth divisions, "Rahatta Kal" claimed the top spot in the young men's competition, while "Hoopers Smile" emerged victorious in the young women's category. Special thanks to Sneaks Up and MacFIT for their contributions to the event's three-point shootout, slam dunk contest, and free-throw competition. Ali Duran reigned supreme in the three-point shootout, Yağız Ateşli soared to victory in the slam dunk contest, and Arda Döner displayed precision in the free-throw contest, all securing first place.

The teams received their trophies and prizes from a distinguished group of individuals, including Hakan Orhunbilge, Head of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Services Department; Ersan Odaman, President of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Club; Hüseyin Egeli, Member of the Board of Directors of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Club; Bahadır Eroğlu, Sports and Branch Director at the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Services Department; and Tolga Yücel, Team Leader at HIS Sports & Events.
