HIS Sports Joins as Partner in the Izmir Granfondo Amateur Road Cycling Race

IZMIR, Türkiye - The vibrant city of Izmir hosted the closing race of the Granfondo series, the Izmir Granfondo Amateur Road Cycling Race. Designed to promote the spread of cycling and support bicycle usage in the community, this event saw thousands of athletes from various countries come together to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic.
The race commenced at Konak Cumhuriyet Meydanı and concluded at the same location, offering participants two challenging courses: a 59.5-kilometer short route and a demanding 108.4-kilometer long route.
A Symbol of Sports Enthusiasm: The Izmir Race
The starting signal for the final stage of the Granfondo series, Türkiye's largest amateur road cycling race, was given at Konak Cumhuriyet Meydanı. Participants pedaled their way through the picturesque landscapes of Izmir, showcasing their endurance and passion for cycling.
The Grand Finale in Izmir: Recognizing Sporting Excellence
Izmir had the honor of hosting the final stage of the Granfondo Amateur Road Cycling Race.In the long route, Ahmet Eren secured the first position, followed by Oğuzhan Taştan in second place and Adem Car Ateş in third. In the women's category, Züleyha Dikbaş claimed the top spot, with Aylin Karanfil in second place and Seda Aksoy in third.
On the shorter course, Nurettin Emre Oruç clinched the first position in the men's category, with Melih Beyhan in second place and Cengiz Güner in third. In the women's category, Sevcan Alper secured the top spot, followed by Buket Demirci in second place and Ayşegül Gümüş in third.
