FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2023

The 47th FIS Alpine World Ski Championships were held at the two nearby French Alps resorts of Courchevel and Méribel from February 6 to February 19, 2023. The choice of the venue was made in May 2018 during the 51st FIS Congress in Costa Navarino, Greece, where Courchevel-Méribel defeated Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Austria, by a vote of 9 to 6. The 1992 Winter Olympics were partially held in the same two locales. Ski jumping and the Nordic combination were performed at Courchevel, while the women's alpine skiing competition was held in Méribel.

Super Bowl 2023

The National Football League (NFL) 2022 season's champion was decided in the American football game known as Super Bowl LVII. The National Football Conference (NFC) champion Philadelphia Eagles were beaten by the American Football Conference (AFC) champion Kansas City Chiefs, 38-35. The game took place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on February 12, 2023. It was the third Super Bowl held at this location and the fourth Super Bowl hosted by the Phoenix metropolitan region overall; the most recent being Super Bowl XLIX in 2015. The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38 to 35 to end the game.

Six Nations Championship

The international Rugby Union calendar includes a number of other tournaments, including the 6 Nations Championship. Six European nations compete against one another annually: England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, and Wales. In the Southern Hemisphere, a comparable competition is called the Rugby Championship. Currently, each team only gets to play every other team once, with home field advantage changing from year to year. The Six Nations champions are frequently referred to as European Champions. France is the reigning champion and they also won the 2022 competition.
