55 KM Ultra Trail
For the bold and experienced trail runners, the Kızılcahamam Ultra Trail beckons with its challenging 55 km route and 2200 meters of elevation gain. Starting at the Soğuksu National Park, the journey takes you through awe-inspiring landmarks like the "Fossil Tree." Get ready to climb to the nearly 1900-meter-high summit of Aluç Mountain. Enjoy a picturesque journey through Camaardı Plateau, then navigate through pine-covered hills to reach the thrilling finish line. This trail offers runners a demanding yet diverse experience, with 20% narrow paths, 74% dirt mountain roads, and 6% asphalt sections, providing a unique opportunity to test their skills on various terrains.
30 KM Ultra Trail
Our 30 km trail offers runners a route approximately 29.5 km long with an elevation gain of 1330 meters. The trail consists of 20% narrow paths, 74% dirt mountain roads, and 6% asphalt sections, with asphalt parts mainly at the start, village or town crossings, and the finish line. This course provides runners with a unique experience amidst breathtaking natural scenery, allowing them to test their adaptation skills on different terrains.
16 KM Short Trail
Embark on a journey through the enchanting Soğuksu National Park with our 16 km short trail, the Soğuksu Trail Run. Designed for new and short-distance runners, this route promises an experience entirely within the embrace of the national park's natural beauty. With a 750-meter elevation gain, challenge your limits against lush greenery, serene landscapes, and iconic landmarks like the "Fossil Tree."
Beach Tour Balikesir Kiraz Beach (June1-2, Balıkesir)
Balikesir is gearing up for an exhilarating weekend as beach volleyball enthusiasts eagerly await the arrival of the highly anticipated Beach Tour Kiraz Beach event, set to take place on June 1-2, 2024. Organized by the Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF), this action-packed tournament promises to deliver thrills, spills, and plenty of excitement as athletes from across the country gather to showcase their skills on the sandy shores of Kiraz Beach.
With categories catering to players of all ages and skill levels, Beach Tour Kiraz Beach offers something for everyone. From the fiercely competitive U18, U16, U14, and U12 age groups to the more relaxed Hobby and Pro Open categories, there's no shortage of opportunities for players to get in on the action.
While the thrill of competition is its reward, participants will also have the chance to vie for top honors and prestigious prizes. Medals will be awarded to the top four teams in each category, with all teams earning valuable points towards their Pro Beach Tour ranking.
Registration for the tournament is open now through the official Beach Volleyball Park website. Athletes who are new to the platform must first register as players before proceeding with tournament registration. Once registered, athletes can pre-register for the tournament and form their teams.
In-person check-in for all participants will take place on May 31, 2024, from 15:00 to 18:00 at the Şehit Turgut Solak Sports Hall, located conveniently near the Balikesir Bus Terminal. All athletes must attend check-in and sign-in, with teams failing to meet document requirements facing automatic disqualification.

The 2024 FIBA Under-17 Basketball World Cup (June 29 - July 7, Istanbul)
The 2024 FIBA Under-17 Basketball World Cup is set to ignite the courts in Turkey from June 29 to July 7, 2024. Sixteen teams from five confederations will battle it out for glory in this highly anticipated tournament.
Hosted in Turkey for the first time, this edition of the FIBA Under-17 Basketball World Cup promises intense matchups and thrilling basketball action. The tournament will take place across two venues in Istanbul: the Sinan Erdem Dome with a capacity of 16,000 and the Ahmet Cömert Sport Hall with a capacity of 3,500.
